At our IVF clinic near Maldon, we believe that fertility awareness, diagnosis, and treatment should be easily accessible to all. This is why Simply Fertility has created a number of packages that are competitive, inclusive, and successful.

When you visit our state of the art facility in Great Baddow, you will have full access to our dedicated team’s years of experience and expert skill set.

Simply Fertility’s aim is to make you feel confident, comfortable, and supported at all times in order to achieve the best outcome possible.

How it works at Simply Fertility’s IVF Clinic

Even if you don’t have a GP referral, you can still visit Simply Fertility to undergo an assessment of your fertility status.

We also have a broad spectrum of services on offer to suit the circumstances of every patient that comes through the door.

Each package features a series of simple yet comprehensive tests, which will highlight any fertility problems. Using these results, you can then see one of our fertility professionals for a full review with advice about what steps to take next.

For added convenience, the tests and review only require two appointments, which can be arranged around your schedule. Also, everything takes place onsite for an easy and effortless experience.

IVF (In-Vitro Fertilisation) combines your sperm and eggs (or cells if using a donor) in a petri dish, which will then be placed in a laboratory incubator to fertilise.

After two-to-five days, one or two of the resulting embryos will be removed and then transferred to the women’s uterus. Hopefully, they will implant and develop just like a normal pregnancy.

Women who require IVF often have fallopian tubes that are absent or damaged. However, it is also commonplace for patents with endometriosis, unexplained female infertility, and male infertility to explore this treatment.

Although IVF is most popular among men and women that want to start a family but have trouble conceiving naturally, it can be used by single women and same-sex couples too.

IVF treatment protocols

  • Long Protocol IVF – Simply Fertility uses this procedure to suppress the patient’s hormones in order to take control of ovulation. Known as down-regulation, we complete the process by using medication called agonists. However, the patient must also take injections to stimulate the ovaries to produce follicles that contain mature eggs.
  • Short Protocol IVF – Some patients will want to go down this route as it doesn’t involve the use of tablets. Even so, it might not be the most appropriate approach for your situation and will need discussing at a consultation with Simply Fertility.
  • Antagonist (mild) IVF – Another option is antagonist (mild) IVF, which still uses injections but over a shorter period of time. The benefits of this protocol are that it minimises discomfort, brings down the cost of medication, reduces the risk of ovarian hyper stimulation, and can be tailored to the individual.
