In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) is when sperm is mixed with eggs in a laboratory incubator to allow for fertilisation. But because IVF treatment requires more eggs than in a natural cycle, the ovaries need stimulating through drug treatment.
After a period of three to five days in the incubator, one or two of the resulting embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus through the cervix and hopefully develop as normal. IVF is particularly applicable to women whose fallopian tubes are absent or damaged. It can also be used for other problems such as endometriosis, unexplained infertility, and male infertility, as well as the egg donation programme.
Our cutting-edge Embryoscope Plus incubator allows your embryos to be developed in optimum conditions without disturbance. Embryologists will also regularly check their progress through cameras and time-lapse technology.
Danbury is a village in the county of Essex with a population of 6,500. Due to its proximity to London and areas of extensive woodland (owned by the National Trust and other conservation organisations), Danbury has established itself as an attractive place to live for commuters and families.
Despite the fact there are several primary schools in Danbury, there are no secondary schools. Primary schools include Danbury Park Community Primary School, St. John’s Church of England Primary School, Heathcote Preparatory School and Elm Green Preparatory School.
