IVF is particularly applicable to women whose fallopian tubes are absent or damaged. However, it is also commonplace for other fertility problems such as endometriosis, unexplained infertility, male infertility, and the egg donation programme.
If we identify IVF as the most suitable treatment for you, it helps to know about the process before hand for greater reassurance and peace of mind.
IVF, which stands for In-Vitro Fertilisation, will combine sperm and eggs in a laboratory incubator. Eggs are collected from the woman’s ovaries using ultrasound guidance, while sperm from the partner or donor must be specially prepared.
After three to five days in the incubator, one or two of the resulting embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus through the cervix. Hopefully, they will develop as normal just like a regular pregnancy.
Because IVF requires more eggs than a natural cycle, the ovaries must be stimulated with the assistance of drugs. We also utilise a cutting-edge Embryoscope Plus incubator, which allows your embryos to develop in optimum conditions without disturbance.
While the UK average success rate for an IVF treatment cycle is around 30%, Simply Fertility is proud of our recent results that exceed this number. This is ever since the launch of our purpose built fertility centre in June 2017, the newest in the East of England.
Simply Fertility has made significant investments to ensure our patients benefit from the latest technology and treatment developments. We feel as though our seasoned scientists and expert clinicians hold the key to helping you on your fertility journey.

The civil parish and town of Chigwell is a great place to raise a family. With a population of around 12,000, Chigwell has a somewhat rural feel, even though its only 12.5 miles from Central London and half an hour from Liverpool Street on the Central line.
Schools in the area include Chigwell Primary, Limes Farm Infants School and Nursery, Limes Farm Junior School, Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, West Hatch High School and most notably Chigwell School. This independent school was founded from a bequest by Samuel Harsnett, Archbishop of York, in 1629.
Families can also take advantage of the David Lloyd Leisure Centre with its indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pools, and gymnasium.
