Treatments at our fertility clinic – Woodford

At Simply Fertility, we’ve established an environment that will make you comfortable in your surroundings and confident in our ability from the moment you arrive. Every step of the way, you can ask our staff any question, which they’ll answer without using medical jargon for added peace of mind.

Our services and treatments include:

  • In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) – IVF involves the fertilisation of eggs with sperm in a laboratory incubator. After just under a week, one or two of the embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus through the cervix and will hopefully develop as normal.
  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) – Only a small number of sperm are required for ICSI, which means this treatment is appropriate for couples where the man has low numbers of normal, motile sperm and would be unsuitable for treatment with IVF unless a donor is used.
  • Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) – This course of treatment is appropriate if you suffer from unexplained infertility or ovulation problems. It can also be suitable if your male partner experiences impotence or premature ejaculation.
  • Donating sperm – We have created a comfortable and discrete environment for donating sperm – a generous gift that could make an incredible difference to people who may not be able to conceive.
  • Donating eggs – Every year there are thousands of people whose only chance of a baby is through egg donation. Your generosity could mean a whole new future for them.
  • Surrogacy – Examples of medical conditions that might make surrogacy necessary include absence or malformation of the womb, recurrent pregnancy loss, or repeated IVF implantation failures.

Fertility clinic – Woodford local information

Even though the beginnings of Woodford can be traced to a medieval settlement, it became a prominent place of residence for moneyed people who had business in London from 1700 onwards.

At the turn of the 20th century, Woodford’s population increased significantly, becoming a municipal borough with neighbouring Wanstead in 1937 and forming part of Greater London since 1965.

Woodford is divided into the neighbourhoods of Woodford Green, Woodford Bridge, Woodford Wells and South Woodford. The area is served by two stations on the Central line of the London Underground – Woodford and South Woodford.
