Our fertility clinic – Chigwell residents information

Before visiting a fertility clinic, you’re sure to have several questions about diagnosis and treatment. Here at Simply Fertility, we offer advice and support every step of the way, making sure to keep fully informed at all times without complicated medical jargon.

Some of our main services and treatments include:

  • In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) – IVF involves the fertilisation of eggs with sperm in a laboratory incubator. After a week, one or two of the embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus through the cervix and will hopefully develop as normal.
  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) – As opposed to conventional IVF when at least 100,000 sperm must be placed within each egg, ICSI treatment involves the injection of a single sperm directly into each egg. The treatment leading up to and after ICSI is identical to the conventional IVF cycle.
  • Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) – Although suitable for couples with unexplained infertility, ovulation problems, impotence, and premature ejaculation, IUI can also be an option for women without a male partner using donated sperm.
  • Sperm donation – We always welcome sperm donations, as it’s in short supply. The donation process is very discreet and won’t take very long.
  • Egg donation – Every year there are thousands of people whose only chance of a baby is through egg donation. Your generosity could mean a whole new future for them.
  • Surrogacy – While surrogacy isn’t a donor programme in the conventional sense, it may involve elements of our fertility services.

About Chigwell

The civil parish and town of Chigwell has a distinctly rural feel but is still just 12.5 miles from Central London, making it an ideal place to start a family. With Loughton and Buckhurt Hill, Chigwell is also said to form part of the Essex ‘Golden Triangle’ of wealthy places.

Notable schools nearby include Chigwell Primary, Limes Farm Infants School and Nursery, Limes Farm Junior School, Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, and West Hatch High School. The independent Chigwell School, founded from a bequest by Samuel Harsnett, Archbishop of York in 1629, is arguably the most well-known.

In terms of things to do, the David Lloyd Leisure Centre has indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pools, and a gymnasium.
