Choosing us as your fertility clinic - Bishops Stortford

If you have not visited a fertility clinic before, you probably won’t know what treatment you’ll need and therefore be overwhelmed by the possible options. But here at Simply Fertility, we aim to provide dedicated guidance and support every step of the way, keeping you fully informed at all times without using medical jargon.

Popular services and treatments include:

  • In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) – IVF involves the fertilisation of eggs with sperm in laboratory incubator. After three to five days in the incubator, one or two of the resulting embryos are transferred to the woman’s uterus through the cervix in the hope they will develop like a normal pregnancy.
  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) – As opposed to conventional IVF when at least 100,000 sperm must be placed with each egg, ICSI treatment involves the injection of a single sperm directly into each egg. The treatment leading up to and after ICSI is identical to the conventional IVF cycle.
  • Intra Uterine Insemination (IUI) – This course of treatment is appropriate if you suffer from unexplained infertility or ovulation problems. It can also be suitable if your male partner experiences impotence or premature ejaculation.
  • Sperm donation – We always welcome sperm donations as it’s in short supply. The donation process is very discreet and won’t take very long.
  • Egg donation – Being an egg donor is an incredible act, as you will be giving an amazing gift – helping others become parents.
  • Surrogacy – Although surrogacy isn’t a donor programme in the conventional sense, it may involve elements of our fertility services.

Fertility clinic – Bishops Stortford local information

Bishop’s Stortford is a historic English market town and civil parish in Hertfordshire with a population of close to 40,000. It is a particularly affluent area, partly due to the town’s status as a commuter hub for the (mainly financial) workers in London.

The town is also home to many people working in the tourist industry, including hotels, catering and airline staff, because it is the closest large town to Stansted Airport. In total, about 85% work in the services sector (2001 census).

Although there are 13 primary and 5 secondary schools, Bishops Stortford does not have any further education colleges for post-16 education, as all schools in Hertfordshire have sixth forms.
